Tattoo Convention Comes to Scranton
This weekend, call it tattoo time at the Hilton in downtown Scranton.
“In essence, we assemble a giant tattoo shop in our hotel but that also coincides with entertainment, music, and food,” said organizer Elijah Birtel.
Birtel is helping to organize the convention. He also owns Electric City Tattoo Gallery in Scranton. Elijah said the event this weekend is for tattoo gurus or really anyone just looking to learn more about body art.
“The professionals who are on hand are tattooist from all over the US, mostly the east coast,” said Birtel.
The 4th annual Electric City Tattoo Convention is going on this weekend in downtown Scranton at the Hilton Scranton Hotel and Conference Center. Grab the family and stop down to get some new ink, get a refreshing shave and haircut from the Barbers @ Loyalty Barbershop and Shave Parlor, or just stroll around and check out some original artwork from the many talented artists attending this years convention. There are many vendors with unique crafts and items for sale! This is a great way to get out of the house and escape the winter blues.
